BURKERT TYPE 6281 SOLENOID VALVE
BURKERT TYPE 6281 SOLENOID VALVE - RELIABLE FLOW CONTROL FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS!
Looking for a dependable solution for controlling liquid and gas flow?
Introducing the Burkert Type 6281, a servo-assisted 2/2-way diaphragm solenoid valve designed for reliable fluid control in various industrial applications.

The 6281 valve is a servo-assisted solenoid valve of the S.EV series. A minimum differential pressure is always required for the function of the valve. Various diaphragm material combinations and methods of operation are available depending on the application. The standard brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. Dezincification-resistant brass is available for other markets. The housing offering is rounded out by a stainless steel version. For reduced energy requirement, all coils can be delivered with electronic power reduction. The valve can be equipped with manual override for easy maintenance and commissioning. In combination with a plug in accordance with DIN EN 175301 - 803 Form A, the valves satisfy protection class IP65 – in combination with a stainless steel housing NEMA 4X. KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS

WORKING PRINCIPLE – BÜRKERT TYPE 6281 SOLENOID VALVE
The Burkert Type 6281 uses a servo-assisted diaphragm mechanism to control the flow of liquids or compatible gases.
Step 1 – Electrical Activation
The solenoid coil receives electrical power when the control system sends a signal.
Step 2 – Magnetic Force
The energized coil generates a magnetic field that lifts the internal pilot plunger.
Step 3 – Pressure Release
The pilot valve opens, allowing pressure above the diaphragm to decrease.
Step 4 – Main Valve Opens
The pressure difference lifts the diaphragm, allowing fluid to pass through the main valve opening.
Step 5 – Electrical Deactivation
When the electrical power is switched off, the magnetic field disappears and the pilot valve closes.
Step 6 – Main Valve Closes
Pressure builds up above the diaphragm, pushing it back into its seat and stopping the flow.

WHY CHOOSE BÜRKERT TYPE 6281?
Designed for dependable operation, the Type 6281 offers practical flow-control solutions for industrial systems requiring efficient and consistent valve performance.
